    Do like but there seems to be green gunk over the camera lens thats ruined the shot are the two rings on the top stained or a different wood also had limited practice with joint segment turning so am intested in what glue you prefer to use on a many piece project like that

    Thank you the splash was a rough turned bowl then I drew the splash silhouette around the sides cut out the main unwanted bits with w scroll saw the finished the rest with knife and dremell. Then hand sanded too 400 grit. Finished with 6 layers of marine varnish and a final coat of melamine...

    How did you learn to turn?

    My friend said you know theres always something new to learn in turning guess thats what draws me to it. Friends, online, you tube and access to books have help me along the way and are continuing too. I believe I'll still be learning till the day I hang up my last tool.
