    As stated SIF. Suffolk Iron Foundery. War Department issue. But cast in 1944. Look for a Goverment Broard Arrow on it. Near there will be a string of numbers. If the arrow and numbers are pressent it was issued to the War Dept and they issued it out. The top handle would point to aRAF (Crab)...

    @Alex H No. I use a local shop who will get parts in for the machines I fix up. He does it for me as I put work his way, he drinks 6X beer, he drives a S2A Land Roover(I fix it) and I known him for years.

    I use Ex Army ones. They are better than the screwfix ones I have owned. Most Army Surplus stores sell them for under £10.
