    Filling holes in oak

WRT Osmo, might be worth testing a hidden bit first as Osmo won’t be happy on something that has been previously sealed.

    Purple meths

I notice that AG Woodcare and Restorate now only sell purple meths. This is fine for stripping, but does it affect the colour when mixed with shellac, either while applying or on the final finish? Is it worth getting industrial clear meths?

    Ceramic core radiators

Are ceramic core radiators any better than oil filled? Also, has anyone got one that includes a fan? Workshop is really well insulated but in the coldest period last winter it needed a bit of extra heat. I would prefer something that just maintains the heat running in the backgroun. Thanks

Amtico in large Kitchen Family Room

Get a qualified installer to carry the risk. We had ours done17 years ago, the fitter insisted doing the screed to guarantee it was flat. It ended up not being flat and we got a considerable refund - however it made no difference to the floor and still looks as good now as when first fitted.
