This is what I use after the recommendation from a similar thread a couple of years ago. I tend too only use it for the first 5 or 10 minutes as my tiny space heats up quickly, but also it gives me a headache if I have it on for too long. It is quite high up, so no issues with Saw dust.

We use a cheap garden shredder that is all plastic except for the blades. It all comes apart so you can get the hose pipe on it afterwards. It’s reasonably quick to feed. I normally do about 100l of apple juice which we bottle and pasteurise, but didn’t get any apples to speak of this year.

I have just discovered a slightly damp magic (aka melamine) sponge is a really easy way to get pencil marks off wood. Apart from raising the grain a little, is there any reason why this is a bad idea? They seem to clean a whole load of other stuff really well as well!

I used strips of french cleats in my workshop onto the painted breeze block wall as I wasn’t sure where I wanted things to go and was too mean to cover the wall completely in ply to screw things in to. It worked for me as my workshop is very small and I wanted to optimise the hanging storage...
