I only use Osmo and used to use a brush, then went to cloth, then went to the non abrasive pads. With each change the amount of sanding between coats got much much less, with the non abrasive pads only requiring a very light rub over with very fine paper. I find the less you put on the better...

Are you detached? If not, how noise tolerant are your neighbours?

Osmo raw followed by a coat of Osmo normal, I find too much raw and it ends up white.

Have you looked at the Wealdon one? If Wealdon can’t supply what you need it probably doesn’t exist!

As the good people suggest, I would pay a bit extra and have a cnc one. Getting anything square is a challenge at the best of times, so you might as well give yourself a fighting chance otherwise you will be carrying forward any inaccuracies to everything you make. You will find lots of other...

Have a look at the Fischer hammerfix - makes life really easy if you don’t know what you are doing! Is you wall that uneven that you really need the battens? Mine went straight on, drill some holes, hammer in the hammerfix, job done :)

Richard at Timberflair.co.uk does signs, he has a cnc, so if you can supply him with an image he could probably help. They also do chicken housing, so don’t get confused. Give them a ring, it’s worth an ask!

Assume you have tried the various jigs that you can make up and a lot of patience? If you have run out of the patience bit, the Dewalt seems to be the favourite small saw. Unfortunately I simply haven’t got room, so I have to carry on using patience.

I have just been watching the Frank Klausz 3 minute dovetails. He cuts the whole dovetail with just a saw using a blade where the first section has no teeth enabling the Saw to be turned and a horizontal cut to be made. Anyone know if these blades are still made?
