This popped up in my feed this morning

Another 20 min vid that didn't need to be any more than two. It's good of her to give the warning it does no harm to remind us. IMO the table saw is the most dangerous tool in the workshop, in the past 22 years I have had three incidents all involving the table saw and one resulting in a trip...

    Monopoly ?

More than once, I've heard someone say, what we need is a good war. Do they think because standards of living increased after the last big one, that they will again?

    YouTube addiction and frustration

I was a founder member and treasurer of our local men's shed but it was so frustrating, trying to get anything done or for the committee to make a decision.. When there was job to be done they were fighting each other for the privilege of doing it then 2 weeks later making excuses why it wasn't...

    Heating a workshop

I'll go along with that. The downside is although you're getting 100% that 100% is expensive it may be cost effective to use a less efficient power source which is cheaper.

    YouTube addiction and frustration

Good points but you guys are comparing TV/videos to real life. Get in the car and go out around a few houses in West Virginia and check out the standard of some workshops, believe me, you'll feel better.

    Heating a workshop

6 by 4 is my minimum desired. I'm trying to get up enough courage to retire mid year. and if I do, I can convert the workshop to a leisure/games room.

    My dilemma

There's a subject definitely worthy of it's own thread. :)

    My dilemma

That might be a bit draughty. I was thing more of an enclosed box, sort of crude bay window without the window. :)

    My dilemma

Hi Sam, Welcome. Looks like I'm first up. If your shed is wood you could cut out a piece of the wall and make a little addon to house the cumbersome part of the saw. Assuming there's room outside.
