    Tall in the saddle

I just watched What a movie and what a difference from any 2024 offering. So many things not in it or referenced. I don't want to mention them in case I get labeled as some kind of phobe

    Predicting the Future

In my limited circle, not one person has said they were fed up with the internet. A salesman did try to sign me up to something which was going to be better about 20 yrs ago. But I never heard of him or it since.

    The colour of plywood.

Around here basic plywood used to be a yellowish colour. Better quality hardwood plywood was a reddish colour, better quality and more expensive. As the years rolled by almost all of it save the very cheapest became reddish and of various quality. It took a while to realise the modern red was...

    Another Ban on the way?

It's good to talk, I know, but all this because 100 doctors supposedly expressed an opinion to the government. It's just clickbait. It's not so long since people were being paid to burn wood pellets whether needed or not. The more you burned, the more you got paid. No talk of pollution.

Did they really suggest selling a $30,000 truck, replace it with a $60,000 electric truck, then buy a diesel generator to put on a trailer to drive it? My mind is well and truly boggled.

    Amazon liquidation pallet

Amazon returns pallets are available about 90 miles from me for £50 - 60 but no delivery. I've toyed with the idea of getting one but so far resisted. SWINBO's Aunt has tried and said she made some money.
