    Any Festool owners?

One thing a new festool gets you is 3 yrs theft insurance. If its stolen, Festool will simply give you another one. Also on my Kapex 60. I bought the optional guide light. So when making cuts you can see where the blade will land. Some people prefer it to a laser. Another party trick is its...

    Looking to get a Winch

I was thinking of pulling up the large walls (7m x 2.4.) up in to position after building them on my deck. Then using the winch to pull or control my machines on pallets with wheels on a ply track/base of sorts? I've not fully thought this through at this stage - just exploring options. I've...

    Aprons

I hope this doesn't sound silly. But I've never found a good place for us in the UK to buy aprons. I think I'd like to have a decent lightweight apron for those messy glue ups or painting/staining jobs. Just never found anywhere with a good range to choose from. Does anyone know of any good...

Fire door offcuts - how to join ?

You could consider kitchen worktop bolts to pull the sections together and then overlay with a thin sheet of mdf. Good luck.

new Axminster spiral cutter portable thicknesser

Good find, and you are right. I think they are the same machine. Good to see TCT cutters can be used. I'd be interested to see if Axminsters is a true spiral cutter. As this video clearly shows that their machine has straight inline cutters. There are nice benefits for spiral. But maybe...

    PIR Insulation

I'm about to buy some 100mm PIR insulation. Has anyone researched this recently and have any recommendation of suppler (that delivers to the south west)? I'm looking for best value. I believe most PIR to be of similar quality. Especially as it's for a shed! TIA
