    I feel that with the wheel moving away from the user is so much safer. If the blade catches, it simply moves away from the user rather than towards. So for me, this is reason enough for an away moving wheel.

    After the initial 12mths warranty. As a consumer you are further protected by your statutory rights. Particularly when you buy a high quality item expected to last many years. I'm not a consumer lawyer so will direct you to trading standards and Citizens Advice for further assistance...

    I agree with your thoughts, it feels like there was a pre-existing flaw. Notwithstanding that - it did glue back up nicely :)

    I was gluing up this little teak table and the top split. I was clamping it and understand that I was applying pressure in a particular way. But when I look at the internal grain of the split, it looks odd. Kind of like it's overly dry, and like it was suffering from some kind of rot or decay...

    I do this at work. I pay for a Topographical Survey. The chap uses a Total Station (digital theodolite). For a small field like that it wouldn't take long and probably cost about £800. A quick Google for a local Land Surveyor will yield what you are looking for.

    Just because you have moved doesn't mean you need to change your doctor. Just keep making your prescription requests with the original supportive doctor. My family have travelled (admittedly in the same city) to the same practice our entire lives.

    I went and it was quite. I found a few stalls that were of use to me but it was more of show and tell type event than show and sell. Lots of big ticket items You could cover all the stalls in an hour or two and be done. Lots of coming and going quickly. I spoke to friend whilst I was there...
