So last year a house across the road burned down when the botanists elaborate loft set up caught fire. One assumes it was a legal CBD operation as this is a reputable area don't you know. There certainly wasn't any discount offered for locals that I was made aware of.
So out walking one...
Don't look too closely or you'll see some gaps.
This is a garden trug, a gift for my mum this Christmas. Made from spalted birch that was felled in my folks garden a while back.
I turned all the tennons on the spindles individually, which was not perfect and hence some gaps. Think it should...

We had one installed a couple of years ago, not cheap, but worth it when you consider how much life the hard water would take off our appliances, boiler, water tank, taps etc.
Also, the shower screen looks miles better.

I got the laguna 14bx this year and have been very happy with it. Build quality appears very high, I went for the 14bx over the 14/12 due to the increased power and I could stretch my budget. I've no doubt the 14/12 would be just as good quality so could recommend.
Finished this off this week to solve my issue of putting my glass/mug on the floor while I watch TV.
It's probably the first piece of furniture I have made that has no metal fixings.
I went for wedged through mortice and tenons as in my head it would be stronger with the cantilever design...
