🤣Great shot! Zena is a ragdoll siamese cross. She moved in with my partner a few years ago. I would have told you "I'm not a cat person" back then. But she's won me over.

    Young'un

This just popped up on my Google feed. Not on Instagram or twatter, but thought those on here might want to support the youth of today that are doing something other than feeling entitled and moaning about being upset their feelings aren't considered when anyone anywhere does or says anything...

After several weeks of emails back and forth with the not so very helpful customer service (you wouldn't think it) department at Draper. They kindly informed me that the, at what can best be described as, somewhat usable bandsaw I have of theirs is no longer supported by them and they do not...

    Bargain on ebay

Why the hell are chainmail bikinis in the "buyer also viewed" bit??? Odd combination, and can't imagine it would offer any protection from the afterburner.

    Sold Stanley Air Tool kit

Stanley 8221074stn Air Tool Kit I don't believe this has ever been used and I am unlikely to use it. Seems to retail somewhere near the £105 mark, the kit is heavy so collection would be preferred, however I can arrange to post it at cost to the buyer. This tool set consists of: Stanley...

    Wood ID?

Thanks all, Can't comment on why it would have been used as fascia, much of it had to be binned due to rot. Apparently it was put up there at least 100 years ago Regards Nick

    Advice for new carer

If someone is eligible for chc then the NHS funds all of the care. There is no part eligible. There are joint fund packages of care where the local CCG might fund for specific care in the community that cannot or is not provided by local statutory services (District nurses, gp, physios etc)...

    Advice for new carer

@Lazurus I'm very sorry to hear about your mum, it is a very difficult time and I empathise. Adult social care (asc) or the district nurses would be my first point of contact. Asc hold the responsibility for providing care for certain things. Care related to mobility, nutrition, personal care...

Couple of hours pottering in the garage. Turned my first bowl out of some sycamore felled in my brothers back garden a couple of years ago. Lots to learn, but I'm pleased with the result. Still needs finish.

First time I've done anything on a lathe since school. Bought the lathe with several gouges including a large Sorby roughing gouge with no handle. So..... Old bit of oak banister and an hour and a half later. Pretty please with it. If anyone has a link to some suitable epoxy for setting the...

Built a log store out of old facia, pallets and an old shed, my brother had an off cut of rubber roofing. All in cost me a box of nails a can of paint and glue for the rubber. Nothing special about the construction other than it all coming in under about £40.
