    Change your energy supplier now!!!

Don't wish to hijack the thread in anyway. I've switched to Good Energy. Similar pricing to EDF. Linked to National Trust and they generate their electricity from renewable sources. I might not be the richest man in ten years time - but it's quite nice to know my power is coming from a...

Discussion point - Trump policy illegal immigrants.

As for the wall - 12 billion dollars to build and he will force another country (that doesn't want it) to pay for it. An outrageous promise to voters - that he will never be able to honour and he knows that. He is already back tracking, before even being sworn in. (Trump: Sorry I meant a fence...

    Medite MDF at B&Q

Is it at a store that they are revamping? My local one is like a building site at the moment. Could be from the contractors.

    Squaring up MDF sheets

I'd go with the tracksaw or homemade version as well. Worth thinking about what you normally make before you buy any gear. Do you ever use full size 8'x4' sheets or are you always cutting them down into much smaller pieces to make boxes, speakers, trays etc? If so - get them cut to half size...

    one thread two questions

Sandvik used to make a range of files and shapers that had a punched metal strip that was glued to an orange stick. Can't find any pictures on google at the moment. The metal strip could be replaced and might be missing on yours. Does it look like it had anything glued to one section?

    Cheap tool design

Are people attracted by those fancy looking bits - or maybe fooled by them? Then assume that the rest will be of similar quality? You can't assume that the company morally wants to produce the best best product ever. So much stuff nowadays is made with a limited shelf life. Will companies make...

Outdoor Gyms in UK- are there any proper ones?

If you're short for space - then you really have a challenge on your hands. I have never heard of an outdoor weightlifting gym in this country - I think you might be out of luck there. One thing that might be worth considering is googling wooden squat racks and power cages. There are a lot of...
