Putting down a tiny bit of concrete

Pretend to be a builder looking for an apprentice. Put some ads around. The 'interview' will be to level a small section of floor!

    Roll Cab Build

Compromise? Can you build a small chest with a couple of drawers first as a practice run? Sit it on top of your existing tool box. Might give you a better idea of what you are letting yourself in for? Otherwise - give it a go. I'll order one when you've finished the first. 40% discount for...

Chest of Drawers for Electric Guitars

Sounds similar in size to the the old architects / map chests that you used to see for storing large flat sheets. (they never used runners though)

Using Bandsaw to Square up timber?

Friedrich First - welcome to the forum. Is there a particular size of project that you will be working on most of all? I'm just asking as it will probably help people with their answers. Martin

    A few recent projects

Just come in from the garden - maybe I'm biased! The planter seat looks very nice. Hope there's a nice spot in a garden waiting to receive that, and the decking and benches look amazing. Great work

    Pestle and Mortar

I like it - never thought of having a bowl incorporated into a board. I'm not a turner myself - but it looks like something enjoyable to produce. (Was it?)

Here we go again - I'm getting a bit fed up

Bloody hell - that's awful. If you were a bit closer - I'd give you a lift to the polling station. Can you cab it and ask a neighbour to house sit for twenty minutes.

    Rome

Vatican - do the tour first thing otherwise the queues are too much. St. Peters is something else. You won't bother with any other churches and cathedrals after seeing in side there! Trevi fountain is lovely. Spanish steps - look out for any free concerts there. memorable evening seeing one...

    Problem club members

If someone gave up their time for an organisation - then they must have cared for that organisation / purpose. Now they won't even tell you who the bank account is held with. You could have money waiting to be paid in, important bills to pay etc. etc. This is a damaging situation for your...

    Glasshouse has finally fallen down

Bloody heel - that's going to be a horrible clearup. Same as above - lucky that your wife, or you , or anyone was nowhere near it.
