Hmmm... they might not be happy with you carrying a few 3m planks, either.... just kidding :giggle:

    For Sale Dry hardwood boards

No rain here until today and then only a quick shower. The gardens could have done with a bit more. Glad you managed to keep your powder wood dry. ;)

    For Sale Dry hardwood boards

Unassuming dusty brown boards... but, as you say, once through the planer and the beauty shines through.

    WDS Moxon vice hardware

I made a moxon vice a while back. I clamp it to my bench with a couple of steel bench hold-downs. I made the slots for the threaded bolds about one and a half times as wide as the diameter of the bolts and that seems to allow sufficient movement for the front plate to be tightened unevenly if...

    Wedding Table Build with Pictures

A magnificent table. Not to my personal taste, but clearly excellent workmanship and imaginative design. Great job; I'll bet your wife (to be?) is very pleased.

Brave man! I hope you wrap up warm... cold fingers and sharp tools are not good playmates! ;)

Ah, you used a router to flatten your piece. Thanks for the info.

Nice work, a very pretty board. Images 2 and 5 seem to show boards joined (or butted up) end grain to end grain, however, I don't see that in the finished board. So do those two images just show two separate boards? By the way, you mention treating with mineral oil and butcher block conditioner...

I made a trolley with coloured bricks for my niece's twins. They are coming up to 1 year old later this month. I already have some delightful pictures where the boy is sitting in the trolley with the girl pushing him along. The trolley is made of 24mm thick cherry wood, the base is inset 12mm...
