    18v tool brand choice

How many realise they're paying to advertise Makita! All clothing with the manufacturers' logo on should be FREE (IMHO) as it's advertising for them!

    18v tool brand choice

The weakest cell failing has always been the main cause of car batteries failing, by dragging down the others. (Or so I'm led to believe)

    Another scam?

I once tried ordering some clear acrylic sheet from a company, then found they considered it to be a small order, so slapped an £18 + vat surcharge! Regardless, to say I said they could Foxtrot Oscar all the way! I ordered elsewhere.

Märklin HO "Big Boy" loco., made in Germany used to sell a lot cheaper in US than could be bought in D. Oops, missed the 'k'.

Then came so many variations on engine-gearbox configuration that one needed a collection of different ones, some quite simple to make. I got rid of all mine on retiring & going...

    Metabo 254 m

I've made T bolts from coach bolts, just file or grind two opposing flats to suit track. T-track nuts are easy enough to make, or modifying slightly bigger ones, even square nuts of appropriate size.

Parkside Angle Grinder Owners - can you help with a favour please?

9" Titan grinders from Screwfix are reasonably priced. I cut-up a concrete ramp (Wheelchair access), 8" deep x 48" long, with no problem. Eventually sold it when I no longer needed it - virtually got my money back.
