Not happy - Tin pot council officers who can issue fines.

That's another reason I hung onto my Saab for 21 years, it only had controls for the radio/cd changer, which I hardly used, because the car was so ergonomically designed that it was easier to reach to the radio, which I didn't use much.

I saw it on MSN, it causes serious damage to small cars getting caught in it! There's a sign that says:-"Guided buses only". (Whatever they are)

In my case, I had no idea what this was referring to - the only news I see is MSN - so I ignore anything that does not interest me.

Hear,Hear! A car passes all checks, BUT, the Government pulls another one out of the hat, calling it 'gms/km', or similar, to create 'tax classes', even with ULEZ compliant vehicles. They've got motorists by the 'goolies', & will NEVER let go. So glad I hung up my steering wheel - Taxed off the...

These 'Councils' are made up of 'Jobs Worths' out to line their own pockets for when they get kicked off🤬 at the next election, & they invent these phrases as they go along - that's my opinion & I be sticking to it!

What about the 'Car Trap' in St. Ives, Cambs.? IMHO it's an absolute disgrace that another 'Tin-pot' council are allowed to do this, it's no more than a 'Constructed' pot-hole! ULEZ - another rip-off. I owned a Saab from new, for 21 years, sold it 13 months ago, now I discover it's 'ULEZ...

    Unidentified Bird Call?

I'd say pheasant, they tend to 'hide' in hedgerows etc.. Got a couple in the old school playing field of 25 yrs ago , the other side of my boundary fence, now reclaimed by nature, often "blonking" & doing low passes. Plenty of under growth, bushes & trees all self-seeded.

    Which type of screw?

CSK head self tappers have been around for as long as other type heads.

Isopon body filler - what a 'con' !

Sorry - just my weird sense of humour. Actually, on second thoughts, maybe the thread should have been in the Joke thread!😂

Isopon body filler - what a 'con' !

There does need to be room for expansion, but how much, is the question? - I surmise. Personally, I don't care. Another example, in the days of me running a car repair business, paint was mixed by a supplier as required, very often 1/2L (min. amount), & if they had no 500ml tins then a litre...

See my previous reply - "What the heck has the tin size got to do with it - as long as you get what you're paying for?"
