Yup, I replaced a Nissan Micra engine with one, but had to fit a 2nd set of plugs as the engines had 2 plugs/cylinder.

Before going 'cheap', consider the weight of a Triton, it could distort the plate. A Kreg saves a lot of 'faffing' about, & it comes with levelling plates.
