Looking at that picture I think the table is not set square to the blade. Put a blade in and tension it, then set the table so it's square to the blade. there's a bolt under one side that's the 90° stop, this may need adjusting, the picture is from the 40-560 manual, page 14.
According to the Rutlands website the jaws are compatible with most leading brands of chucks: Xact, Record Power, Charnwood, Nova, so you could try the other suppliers.

Just had a look on the zap map site and it seems that the charging systems use 3 different plugs. No one standard plug, does that mean that you need 3 leads to take advantage of all the charging points?
In the late 90's when I worked at Groundwork Ashfield and Mansfield they had an electric Peugeot that had a range of 50 - 60 miles. Still had to put a gallon of petrol in every now and then for the heater though.
I think that the only way to do this is with a Dremel type tool with mill drill bits, working from the outside with something like these.

The last couple of pine wardrobes I've taken apart had panels made from thin tongue and groove boarded so could the wide part of the groove be for the board and the narrow slit for the tongue?
Fatcapp, on my DML24 I got a coach bolt that the square bit fitted the banjo top groove, dropped it down through the banjo, ground off the lugs that are on the clamp underneath and welded a bit of steel to the coach bolt nut for a handle.
Steve and Kevin, well I must have been lucky, I went to them originally for Oak faced mdf as it was he only place local that had any, admit I've not used them a lot but what I have bought from them has been good.
