That's sad to hear.

I've recently changed my pillar drill to a bench drill due to lack of floorspace in my new smaller workshop. I've been able retain my medium sized bandsaw. In my 20 odd years of pillar drill ownership I can think of only 1 occasion when I used its full height capacity. Brian

I've just done this update on my bathroom, changing 12V MR16 halogens to GU10 LED'S. I had to buy GU10 bulb holders, which are readily available from the likes of Screwfix. The only problem I encountered was that the GU10s with bulb holder were a little taller than the MR16s and fouled the top...

If the saw was working satisfactorily before the new blade, what has changed? Try and work out what is causing the drift. Adjusting the fence is just an attempt to live with the problem and you can bet your life things will change as the blade wears. Brian

Sounds as though the conveyer has developed a permanent set because of lack of exercise for an extended period. What type of conveyer is it? Rubber or abrasive sheet? I improved the roller grip by covering it with tennis racket handle heat shrink rubber tube. Brian
