    Shove ha'penny board?

My dad liked his dominoes - a game with him was a Christmas treat when I was little. He did teach me to play Cribbage when I was about 7 - 'as a aid to learning the maths' !

    Cutting Brass Tube Cleanly

Cutting metal leaves burrs - even cutting them on a lathe will leave a burr. This is a great tool - but probably more than you need. (careful - loud music) Edit - Would a benchgrinder with a taper cup wheel on one side and a cone wheel on the other side work? - just touch the end to each...

    Visible Glue Lines help please

Having an unheated workshop I found out that Titebond 3 is the lowest temp 'normal' woodglue you can use (9c/48f), all the other usual suspects cant be used below 13c/55f. Temp in the UK hasn't been much above 4c/39f for around the last week - so if you have an unheated shop that might be a big...

    Axminster Craft AC1400B Bandsaw.

I never really thought I'd use a bandsaw. I was even offered a big Erbauer (iirc) free-standing one, (around 250-300mm depth of cut) for £100 that I turned down because I didn't really have the room for it - massive mistake. I eventually bought a compact one - 90mm depth of cut. Every time I...

    cnc wood carving

If they're anything like the machines we use, we can design the object in CAD, then the program works out the toolpaths and sends it straight to the cnc machine. I could watch milling machines all day long :)
