Router Bit for French style Mouldings

I recall the making coving on a table saw technique being discussed in the past and this quote from doctor Bob (once of this parish) stuck in my mind, "Most who do this have curly teeth and have married their sister".

    Good workbench deal at £100?

I'd say it's a bargain, can I see the end of a tail vice at the right hand side? It does look a bit top heavy, I would suggest with the money you have saved you should buy lots of tools and store them in the cupboard below to add a bit of ballast :)

For Sale Rexon bandsaw (Morticer now sold)

I'm selling this on behalf of the widow of a keen woodworker who lived in the next village. I don't know the history of the machine, it seems in good condition and starts when turned on but that is about all I can tell you about it. Bandsaw £60 (comes with 2 brand new blades) Collection...

Router Bit for French style Mouldings

I doubt you will find a router cutter to do that in one hit, you will probably need to buy at least 2 cutters to get it something like. Something like the vertical raised panel cutter T5214 from Wealden might be a good start for the cove...

    Kitchen Worktop Joints

Not sure if it's just the picture but the worktop in your screen shot looks to have a small radius on the edge, will be easier if you can get one that is square edged.

    Cheap Systainers!

If anyone is after cheap T-LOC sys 5 ebay seems to be flooded with them at the moment, people selling them literally by the pallet load! Only thing is they look to have been used for carrying medical samples so don't know what they might have contained 🤔 Examples below...

Table Saw w/ability to take a dado stack.

Think the Laguna Fusion 3 takes a dado and always seems a lot of saw for the money. @Nick Laguna UK might be able to tell us more https://www.norfolksawservices.co.uk/products/blades-and-tooling/tct-dado-sets/cmt-8-dado-set-for-laguna-fusion-3...

    Bent panel

Yes I'm sure the Tulip being on the face caused the problem, I should know better...... My first plan is to kerf the MDF and use some tulip wood battens on the back to hopefully straighten things up. If that doesn't work it will be a total remake in the style of a proper door with the MDF in a...

Post a photo of the last thing you made

I have been meaning to make a cabinet to go under the extension table of may panel saw for ages, the saw is next to my spindle moulder and I often end up dumping spindle moulder related things on the table which isn't ideal hence the need for a cabinet. I was getting rid of an old desk which...

    Bent panel

I'm doing a wall panelling job and one of the panels is a push to open secret door to hide some electric boxes. There isn't much depth so I used 12mm MR MDF for the panel with a Tulipwood bead pinned around the edge to match the other panels, it was hung on a full length piano hinge. I know it's...

Zero clearance fence on a Kapex - does it affect the dust collection?

Some reasons are It gives more support if you are cutting short pieces and stops small off cuts flying off behind the saw. Can cut down on breakout but I never really find this a problem if you use a sharp blade. Also gives you the exact point that the blade will cut so you can line your cut...

    Ebay relisting?

Thank you for all the replies. The auction for the drill has now ended early. Think I'll keep avoiding Ebay.

Show us your Box Shutter latches.

The shutters in the house I'm working on at the moment have latches. The latches still work (turn the knob to open) and the shutters still fold away nicely in to the splayed linings. They are a bit quirky as the right hand side has two shutters which fold out but the left side has three, well...

    Ebay relisting?

I don't normally use Ebay but have been watching a used Festool drill on it this week. The starting price was £30 and there were a few bids on it through the week until it sold for £45.50 this evening. Thing was within 2 minutes it was back up again with the same seller with a starting price...

    Dust extractor filter bag?

Prompted by the other dust extraction thread I have a question I would like some opinions/advice on. I have a Jet DC1100 dust extractor which I use on my planer and spindle moulder, it just has a cloth bag for a filter. I keep thinking about upgrading the bag on it to one of the cartridge type...

    Best Dust Extraction System

I think @Doug B means a ducted system is restrictive as in he doesn't want his machines 'plumbed in' and tied to one spot, not restrictive as in airflow. I have a similar set up with a long flexi hose that I swap between machines, works for me.
