    Euro plug

I dont recollect off the top of my head, which year it was that electrical goods/appliances started to be fitted with moulded plugs by the manufacturers, but prior to that date, the appliances that I mentioned in my previous post were, ironically.....all delivered without any kind of plug...

    Euro plug

It does strike me as ridiculous that I am deemed competent and qualified to rewire someone's house and replace their consumer unit, along with completing all the relevant testing and certification, but I'm not allowed to remove a moulded plug from an appliance and replace it with a re-wireable...

    Euro plug

I've never had this situation with a power tool as such, but I have had this issue arise with a fitted integrated Dishwasher and a fitted integrated Fridge Freezer a couple of years ago. Then, and still currently, they are delivered with a moulded 13a plug on the power lead. This is not always...

For Sale Startrite TA 145 Table Saw 240v.

This is still available and needs a new home! I forgot to state in my original post.....This has an induction motor! I can possibly deliver this saw to a new owner within a reasonable distance, if it helps....?

Can anyone recommend some concealed / floating shelf brackets?

I'm a bit confused Prizen....You say it's not solid and flexes?...With all due respect, what did you expect ? A 10000mm wide x 300mm deep x 45mm thick shelf has a lot of weight & mass. The leverage from front to back is high, so if you wiggle them, of course there is likely to be...

Is that the " Budvar" variant...?

Built in wardrobe door spacing with flush infills

I tend to use the hinges & hinge back plates with the nylon inserts. I feel it helps to spread the load over a larger area rather than just relying on a wood screw alone. Regarding the back plates, I tend to stick with the Cruciform style, as again, I think it gives the back plate more...

Can anyone recommend some concealed / floating shelf brackets?

Just ensure you make the hole for the long pin a nice snug fit.....Who's likely to be pulling the shelf off anyway..? If you are concerned about someone doing that (...???...), just put some adhesive in the pin holes before you slide the shelf into position. I have never felt the need to use any...

Built in wardrobe door spacing with flush infills

" needed"...? No,....But after more than 40 years in the fitted furniture business, IMHO,...its the right way of doing it and it keeps all the doors and fascias straight & parallel with each other.

Built in wardrobe door spacing with flush infills

This is not an issue if you use Blum hinges as linked to by Doug71.....As the door is opened, the hinge automatically kicks the door across & out slightly within it's own width and doesn't bind with adjacent doors or filler panels. Flush Fillers can be made up with a 2mm offset to allow for...

Can anyone recommend some concealed / floating shelf brackets?

Good point Mark.👍 The shelves that I make & fit are usually more for decorative purposes and tend to have quite lightweight items placed on them.

Can anyone recommend some concealed / floating shelf brackets?

That's one of the advantages of the brackets that I linked to.....Its adjustable up/down and the inclination of the pin. Be aware though of the weight of your Ash shelf....🤔🤔

Can anyone recommend some concealed / floating shelf brackets?

These are the type that I use......Suitable up to a maximum of 300mm deep shelf. On a shelf the size you mentioned, I would use at least 3.....45MM solid Ash is quite heavy! https://www.sdslondon.co.uk/concealed-floating-shelf-bracket-length-112-mm-diameter-12-mm.html

    That's odd!

That is odd indeed.... This is straight from Scheppach's own website.....The last bulletin point seems to contradict the instructions you've got..?? Maximum efficiency with 0.5 micron rating. Total mobility. Can be transported easily in pick-up truck or the trunk of a car. Flexible hose (Ø...

    Freestanding bath tap connector.

Not all of them, that's for sure! Having said that,....WRAS approval is not mandatory and just because the tap manufacturer hasn't applied for and been given approval, doesn't mean it isn't decent quality.....!!!👍

    Freestanding bath tap connector.

The majority of taps that have the small bore flexible hoses on them are made in and sold in Europe. The Europeans have had high pressure hot & cold water systems long before we took it on board here in the UK. I've been mainly selling these type of Taps for years, so have seen many different...

😁.....I appreciate that you think I misunderstood what the OP said,....but I didnt! I supply & install kitchens, bathrooms & fitted furniture for a living and have done so for more than 40 years, so have seen and installed more than my fair share of flexi tap connectors..... IF YOU LOOK...
