    Whitworth Socket Set.

I'm after a small set of Whitworth sockets, preferably 1/4" drive but could compromise and settle for 3/8" drive if I have to.... Anyone got a recommendation? I've searched in vain for a 1/4" set but I'm hoping someone may know of a set that I can't find. Thanks. Edit. I'd be okay with a...

    Unflush joints with festool xl

I adopt a very similar technique when using my DF500......The majority of the pressure applied is with my left hand, holding the front fence/handle down and flat to the surface of the material......As with cutting or machining any material,.ensuring the cutters are sharp also helps with the...

    Router bits, which makes?

Titman are very much still going! I have a few of their cutters and they are nice quality. I cant say for certain if they still do all their manufacturing there, but they are not far from me and still have their head office/ factory in Clacton on Sea.

Are you sure your pad is flat...? If the outer edges of your pad are compressed or worn down, then that would possibly explain why the centre of your sanding disc is wearing out first....?

    Pattern template size

If I have understood Born2bye correctly, he said he plans on running the router guide bush against the inside of his circular template to cut a circular inlay of 80mm dia, in which case, 120mm dia hole in his template would be correct.....? In the scenario that you describe Richard, to cut out...

Any recommendations for light, mains powered angled drill for bowl sanding?

I have a 240v Metabo right angled drill, had it for many years and it's a good solid, powerful tool( mainly used for drilling through wooden joists) ......It is a bit weighty though! Makita also make a similar tool and it weighs about 1kg lighter than the Metabo. I imagine the Makita only...
