    Felder Hammer mobile base dimensions

I have a Hammer A3 31 with the Hammer wheel kit and lifting bar fitted to it....I'm not sure if it would be identical to the wheel kit for the A2 26, but I'm happy to measure mine for you and give you those dimensions...? Edit. I just looked at the details for that kit that you linked to and it...

    FFX - Festool 5ah batteries £65

I dont know about Lidl batteries, but do they have Bluetooth ability....? I would also assume the quality of the battery cells used in Festool batteries is far better than the Lidl cells...?

    Advice on spiral upcut bits

I use Rennie 8mm solid carbide compression router bits......Never had any problems with them!

Not happy - Tin pot council officers who can issue fines.

These sort of changes of use are usually well publicised in local papers, radio etc, as well as local/ nearby signs warning of that change. They changed a busy road/ short cut to buses & taxis only in my town and for the first few months, the local council fined hundreds of local drivers for...

Buying clear hose by the metre?

Ideally, you would want to utilise it in its reasonably expanded state. The tighter it is, the smoother and more efficient the airflow will be through it. Not necessarily stretched to its absolute maximum, but I think it's a matter of interpretation as to just how "taut" is taut...? I buy and...

    Chalk deposit in toilet pan

You mentioned "scale", so I assumed you were referring to limescale, hence why I suggested checking the settings and functionality of your softener. Chalky deposits?.....Then, I have no idea!😁......I'd be more likely to suggest you check your diet.

    Chalk deposit in toilet pan

I was going to say exactly the same as Fergie.....Check the settings on your softener !

    FTAGH Free!.....Jarrah Wood?

It's yours if you want it Clogs...? Lord knows how much it would cost to ship to Crete though, as it is HEAVY and cutting it is a real challenge, to put it mildly!

    FTAGH Free!.....Jarrah Wood?

I was given this piece of what I believe is Jarrah wood about 15 years ago. It is very hard and very heavy for its size. It's been hiding in the depths of my workshop and I came across it yesterday whilst looking for something else and as I've never found a use for it, I wondered if any fellow...

    Hammer A2-26 jointer/thickness planer

I've had my A3 31 for 8 years now ( I bought it lightly used from another member on here) and have never needed any parts for it other than new blades, and those came direct from Milton Keynes within 48 hours.....Its always worked faultlessly......Maybe, I've just been fortunate....?

    What saw is this from...?

Thanks everyone for your input, especially Housey...👍 A couple of additional questions if I may,...... My limited understanding of Wadkin riving knives is, there are two different types? Do they vary dependant upon the age of the saw...? I'm assuming that the guard and knife that I have are...

    What saw is this from...?

.......That is indeed originally off a Wadkin saw...👍 Not a Startrite. If you look really closely in the bottom right hand corner of that label, you can just make out the letters ...."14 AGS"

    What saw is this from...?

I'm now certain Niall, that the guard is for a Wadkin saw having looked at some very similar pictures online and having found the detail on that little blade diameter label. Having worked on and refurbished quite a few Startrite saws in my time, the only similarity I can see is the Yellow...

    What saw is this from...?

Thanks for the insight Housey...👍 I think it's highly likely that I'll be trying to find it a new home/owner, as its little use to me. I imagine some Wadkin saw owner would be pleased to have it and it looks like it may help me to recoup some of my outlay on the Startrite saw I bought as i need...

    What saw is this from...?

You mean the holes in the bracket itself...? They go all the way through to the other side, as if something else was bolted through and fixed to the bracket.

    What saw is this from...?

I have to say, looking at that bracket and the way it's been mounted, ...it does look fairly original.

    What saw is this from...?

I just tried that, but all the images that come up appear to be of a similar looking but shorter version and without the central cutout and hold down bracket. Mine is long at 425mm and the others all look to be about 100mm shorter than this.... Do both the AGS10 and AGS12 take a 300mm dia...

    What saw is this from...?

I think you've nailed it Housey....👍 I've just looked at some pictures of Wadkin saw blade guard's & riving knives and it's almost an exact match, it even has " 10 & 12 AGS " printed in really small letters on the bottom of the blade dimensions label on the side. I wonder whether the central...

    What saw is this from...?

I bought another old Startrite table saw about 6 weeks ago for refurbishment and in the box of bits that came with the saw was this blade guard & riving knife. Its definitely not an original part from the saw I bought as it's the wrong shape and far bigger than would have been fitted to the saw...
