And I thought you were trying to make perfectly round concentric circles. (hammer) I think I would need to see it in use to really get it Thanks Ian

Walnut and burr walnut chest of drawers

The top and bottom panels are made in much the same way as the side. The Edging is mitred at the corners and again attached with splines. Once the top/bottom have been edged they were very carefully planed to to exact size and then grooved on the router table. The grooves were then hand cut to...

Walnut and burr walnut chest of drawers

In the original posting I didnt put a scale on the image, The piece is 300mm high and 150mm square. It is made from venered birch ply with solid corner posts. Although it is only quite small, the same construction techniques could be used on a full size chest. This approach is only suitable with...

A 200 micron plastisol is fine just as I said there a huge variation, Some manufacturers provide full rectification guarantees for up to 40 years (commercial buildings only) Some offer guarantees but when you read teh small print arent worth the paper they are written on. 4 degrees after...

    Solid Shed build,vapor barrier question

Believe me new developments on cladding systems do not happen overnight. From my work which covers most aspects of large industrial building cladding, we have proven calculated and tested standard details. New details would go through a formal process of concept design, calculation, accelerated...

    Solid Shed build,vapor barrier question

I have generally found that people on this forum offer clear constructive advice. I think this is true for virtually everything written so far on this thread. However when given advice rather than take it you seem to question the advice and ask why your method wont work. There are plenty of ways...

My daughter wanted to make a storage box for all her jewellery to keep it all together at university. My 3.6 X 7 Meter build, have a base ready to go

I seriously recommend you have a rethink about the quality of profiled steel you are using for the roof. Polyester is only a 25 micron thick paint system and scratches really easily, the substrate will be a plain galvanised steel. You will get no guarantee (with any meaning) and I would expect...
