Work so hard you cripple yourself

Union fights were always about money despite company loss's, if a business is no longer profitable it has to close or redundancies made no matter what the unions say and nearly always they had one thing to say "Strike" and that really helped. 😱

    Plantation Shutters.

The fixing of the louvres into the stiles varies, most difficult is blind recess's in the stile and fixed width louvres, assembly can be a nightmare, and over width slats recessed onto the stile all aesthetics in reality, never seen any louvres with a curve, probably an optical illusion.

How easy is it to fit a kitchen?

We could all go on and on giving advice, some you will need some you don't, like I would advise putting kitchen appliance sockets in the back of a tray space between one or two units, fridge and freezer sockets in adjacent units not behind them, I would personally put all kitchen appliances on...

How easy is it to fit a kitchen?

IMO the two most important things are to buy 18/19/20mm thick cabinets not the 16mm usually offered, think carefully about the height of the bottom of the kitchen sink, if you or anyone using this is tall the normal height of these units means you are bending over all the time, all the kitchens...

    Fly tying vice base.

That is so typical of a Ghillie always on the look out for extra cash, I fooled one on Gallway Weir by not using the fly he sold me, but used a very large dry Klinkhammer, he tried to claim kudos for it with the crowd when I caught a couple of Salmon one after the other, but was put right by my...

    Fly tying vice base.

Something I have often said to others is that most flies in shops are designed to catch fly fisherman not fish.

I am in need of some wooden worktop off cuts, if I knew where "heals" was I may be able to help, but heals just directs me to the department store.

    Fly tying vice base.

@Lons Ditto with amount of materials, what I find most annoying is the amount of thread reels I never use, but make space for them on bits of dowel glued into my station. @ChaiLatte Granite worktop come in at up too 40mm thick. Worktop suppliers generally sell on sink cut outs as cutting...

    Fly tying vice base.

Thanks for the thoughts. Did all kids Dads melt lead for sea fishing I know mine did as well. 🤣 The only thing I want to attach to the base is the stem boss and a magnet to hold hooks, had thought of your route, but discounted that as defeating the object of making a nice looking base. Stem...
