Cavity Gap when joining timber frame to brickwork?

Look up Furfix profile to join brickwork to existing brickwork, structurally toothing in is actively discouraged unless you can guarantee there will be no differential movement between the existing building and the extension, with the state of water tables in these modern times, almost...

Cavity Gap when joining timber frame to brickwork?

Compriband is made for just that sort of joint. Look up Canadian rain wall for the construction of your extension.

    Any Snap-on experts on here

As my collection as well, one thing I like about the ratchet left behind was the fine tooth positions on it, how often have you not been able to get to the next solid position due to lack of space to swing the handle far enough, very infuriating under the car. And the screwdrivers cam out just...

What is Clickbait, is that in the same vocabulary as Woke, another made up word to fit what others think? 😱

    TRV adaptors, any ideas?

Forgot to add, if its a gravity system turn off the water to the header tank or tie up the ball valve so it does not drop replacing the water drained out.

    TRV adaptors, any ideas?

If you turn off the boiler and close the lock shield valve the amount of water our of the radiator is minimal easily controlled with a thumb over the supply pipe a quick replace with a new closed valve allows the TRV to be replaced with a new valve assembly, you can also get a silicone tray that...

    Wardrobe sag and advice

How about supporting the main shelf from above with a full width partition attached to the ceiling or top part of the built in wardrobe. Also consider if you make it a shoe shelf then an angle base for the shoes can hide most bracing.

Health Secretary:"People who are abusing NHS staff can be turned away, and should be turned away, if that is the way that they are treating our staff"

Bolted down to the bed and laying in a Halcyon machine feels like an execution, I don't recommend it. 😇

Health Secretary:"People who are abusing NHS staff can be turned away, and should be turned away, if that is the way that they are treating our staff"

Incidentally I had thirty five visits to the Oncology department in a seven week period and have nothing but high praise for the staff in that department for the care and treatment I received.

Health Secretary:"People who are abusing NHS staff can be turned away, and should be turned away, if that is the way that they are treating our staff"

I remember about ten years ago (or was it more) a move to withhold NHS service's to people who smoked what ever happened to that I wonder.

Health Secretary:"People who are abusing NHS staff can be turned away, and should be turned away, if that is the way that they are treating our staff"

I was recently accused of abusing NHS nurse, because I was forceful in taking the head nurse to task in the Oncology department for having all the fire doors in her department propped open, she could not see the danger she was causing and insisted the doors needed to be propped open because the...

Table Saw kickback and trimmed finger (Graphic description & images)

No chance I'm afraid, table saw was sold with the house in France when we moved back to the UK.

No I mean that the rear of the overhead guard is slotted to take the Riving knife so the guard rides up on it and does not move sideways into the blade unlike those without lateral support as shown on the picture above.

My home made crown guard located sideways by the riving knife, also Jessem Stock guides that almost eliminate the possibility of kick back.
