Bit confused here. In your first post you said 'going down the Permitted Development" route and that PD had been granted. I thought that that was the point of PD? That you didn't need to involve planning and be 'granted'. Given the size, I assume you've got Building Control involved ?

Hydraulics are painfully slow and you will lose the will to live. I cut my stuff to the length needed for the fire. After all, I've got the chainsaw out, how much harder is it to make those extra cuts? I also prefer to split when green because it dries quicker as well as being easier. 20-30...

I agree with that. But too many people take offence when it's not directed at them. Isn't that equally wrong?
