    Bandsaw Blade Guide theory!

Cut one clockwise & the next anticlockwise. Hopefully all the blanks won't be too big to cut the anticlockwise ones.

FYI: Morse tapers should be clean & dry. They should remove easily with a light tap from a knock out bar.

    Steb centres

Agreed, but if steb drive centre fails to bite it can bore into the wood especially if it's punky. Applying too much pressure with a conventional live centre can split the wood.

Wanted Coronet 3 Lathe Small Tool Rest

Really you need to know the correct stem size. I see from the post at the top of the woodturning section that the Coronet Envoy takes a 1" stem & as most makes are standard across their range it's likely that yours is the same. Common cause is using a 25mm stem in a 1" (25.4mm) banjo.

    Graduate lathe castors anyone ?

The castors by Carl Holmgren, shown in the video, are for moving the lathe only. In normal use the lathe stands on it's own feet. However I agree, movements should be in small increments & whether pushing or pulling the force should be applied to the bottom half of the legs.

Post your homemade dust collection hoods

I don't use dust collection for shavings as they can't keep up & are more trouble than they are worth. Most 4" extractors have bars or a mesh just before the impellor which leads to the hose clogging. This is what I use to collect the dust when sanding connected to a cyclone & shop vac. It's...

If you are in Pershore you have at least two professional turners close by Mark Hancock - http://www.markhancock.co.uk/ Phil Irons - https://www.philironswoodturning.co.uk/ They will also probably know all the other turners in the area.
