Is it the queue to leave after the budget?

So what are peoples thoughts and any potential impact on yourself

Yet you complain of private business getting rich on the back of the NHS. You can’t have it both ways.

So what are peoples thoughts and any potential impact on yourself

Make them financially accountable. Make them work/justify investment in the same way a business does with real fiscal and delivery targets. I’m not suggesting privatisation simply treat it in the same way a business would be treated by the markets.

So what are peoples thoughts and any potential impact on yourself

Completely different topic. Insurance company’s work deals with suppliers and health care providers which obfuscate the actual cost. The point being made is simply that the NHS works on the principle there is a money tree and consequently works with poor fiscal responsibility. A ‘normal’...

So what are peoples thoughts and any potential impact on yourself

The point is a business that is measured by its bottom line would be getting much better deals from the suppliers. The issue is the NHS is enabling the gouging medical suppliers.

Can I make all usual structures with just wood from my small woodland?

That is a very good point. I watched an episode of digging for Britain last night and they uncovered some Bronze Age artifacts and analysis showed the copper content had been mined in Austria/Switzerland. There was even ivory from Africa and amber from the Baltic. It is really surprising how...

    US Election November 5th

Foreign policy, especially related to Russia and China for opposite reasons. I have no interest in US domestic policy but have grave concerns for the world’s security and economic viability if Trump is elected. There was a major devaluation in semi conductor stock and world wide panic a few...

Pretty sure there is plenty of Neanderthal thinking available here to help out

    Money's no object !

I always had the dream, if I won big on EuroMillions, that I would buy a factory/office space somewhere and start an incubation facility for local startups. Somewhere with IT support, accounting support, business management support and some funding for the initial year of operation. I think too...

    Joke Thread 5

Reminds me of the two ladies discussing a mutual man friend who had a tattoo on his private parts. The first said did you know Bill has Ludo tattooed on his privates? The second said I think he likes me more because it says Llandudno when I’m looking at it.

I’ve noticed a lot of things listed as the packaging size rather than the item

    Keir Starmer

I clearly stated that the only ones that are illegal are the ones that don’t apply for asylum and the ones that abscond once they have been refused asylum. Now read that carefully a couple of times before you ask the same stupid questions trying to make points that are only in your head.

My 11 year old niece has a smartphone- im angry

I looked at it but the costs for regular use tends to escalate quite rapidly. I’m often in the arse end of nowhere so tend to use a lot of cellular data.

Never questioned that the vast majority of immigrants come into the country legitimately and I welcome them. I have absolutely no issue with people following the rules. I have emigrated twice in my life time, once to Australia and then to Canada. That was all done using the appropriate channels...

    Keir Starmer

I’m convinced you only read what you think people say. No one has said it is illegal to seek asylum and no one has said it is illegal to be refused asylum. It is illegal to enter the country without a visa and to avoid requesting asylum. It is illegal to remain in the county once asylum, and...

Mine runs to close to £100 a month as I use it internationally a lot and also use a lot of data while travelling.
