I can't disagree with that, but I can disagree with woodieallen, who seems to think that other people's usage is somehow mendacious.

I think Lady Mone will be sad that you've forgotten her so soon..

    No Fault Evictions

I think it's just the law of unintended consequences. There needs to be a safety net for those who fall through the cracks, and there will always be some who take advantage. In all walks if life we encounter inconveniences, such as how difficult it can be to access one's own money, or not being...

Sounds like a rum story to me. Are you sure that your neighbour wasn't required to clear her loft out prior to the insulation firm's visit?

What do you think "most" means, just out of curiosity?

Whatever I may think about the rest of this thread, I have to say that I agree that the EPC assessors are variable, to put it politely. You can get surprisingly different assessments from different operatives, and the assessments do not seem to be remotely scientific.

Majority does just mean more than 50%, and I'd venture to suggest that most people understand that. "Vast majority", on the other hand, is probably open to interpretation.

I have read that tattoos were once a mark of wealth and privilege, then became fashionable for sailors, now seems to be acceptable for just about anybody. I'm not planning on getting inked anytime soon, but I think I've pretty much overcome the prejudice I acquired growing up.

I've never understood why ear piercing is considered totally normal, but anything else is frowned upon. I mean, I understand that's it's simply convention, but it makes no sense.

Thanks, although the thing I made is obviously slightly different, I will take a look at the Tormek guide, as no doubt some of the principles will still apply.

The last general election. Must have been quite some blink!

On the other side of the coin, I recently looked at my 10 year old granddaughter's 11+ practice books, and although I could do the maths(arithmetic really) questions, I sincerely believe that they were way harder than the sort of stuff in the 1963 11+ test that I sat.

I know this is a fairly old thread, but.. Having made something functionally similar, I'm looking for advice on how to set this up. There are four variables, as I see it: the length of gouge protruding through the jig, the angle of the "stick" to the jig, the position of the sliding bar support...

    AI, trolls and internet forums

The thing about Russian trolls is that, if you check, they're usually concealing another Russian troll, and if you check that one, you'll usually find another Russian troll hiding inside, and if you do a bit more digging, guess what!

I think it has to be "who" because of "she". If the pronoun was "her" (which obviously doesn't work here), then it would be "whom".
