Cast iron is apparently 2 to 4% carbon. I believe it's the presence of carbon that differentiates organic from non organic compounds. I'm being pedantic, of course, but it does amuse me when I see products labelled as containing no chemicals. You could argue "oh, but you know what they mean"...

You could drive yourself round the bend by worrying about things such as "for free", "reduce down" etc. I try to ignore that sort of thing these days. You won't stop the evolution of language, and most other people will think you're a pedantic old f@rt. I will, however, continue to use "ize"...

I used these, 16 of them, I don't think there's any chance of my shed blowing away, but it has sunk slightly on one side, owing to mole activity.

I may have said this before, but I reckon a lot of these scam callers are poor and desperate, and would probably much rather have a proper, rewarding job. It's the people who run the organisations that are the evil ones, and although it can be entertaining to play the caller along and waste...
