    The Cheapest Energy So Far

I think Phil misunderstood one of your posts(that also had a typo), and you're now both arguing about nothing.

    Joke Thread 5

There are 10 types of people, the type who think jokes about binary are funny, and the other 9, who don't, but are too polite to say so.

    No Fault Evictions

Nothing to do with sour grapes, woodie, unless I totally misunderstood Aesop, I just don't believe that many of the super rich contribute much to society. And I never said that he hadn't paid his taxes.

Whatever happened to the idea for distributed small scale nuclear?

    No Fault Evictions

Good for him. Let all the ultra rich who don't want to pay their taxes eff off abroad. I really don't believe it'll make much difference to anything in the long run. If they all abscond, then I guess there won't be a lot of prospective buyers!

    Electric vehicles

I was under the impression that nuclear, in the UK, was run pretty much flat out all the time, and the gas fired generators were ramped up and down to match demand. I could be wrong - I'm sure someone will come along and tell me so...

Is this getting a bit out of hand? - RSV jabs

I have to say that I don't see anyone changing their minds in any of these "discussions" on non-woody subjects.

Is this getting a bit out of hand? - RSV jabs

I can't imagine it was intended seriously. Bill Gates is not somebody who springs to mind if you mention drugs and ***. When he was on Desert Island Discs, he sounded uncannily like Kermit the frog, not that Kermit might not have licked a toad or two in his lifetime.

Carter High Sleeper Loft Bed assy. instructions.

I've tried three firms that either stock, or used to stock it, one downright refusal to help, one on-line chatbot dead end and one premium rate on hold music service. I can understand their reluctance to help with a second hand purchase, but we're not going to buy a new one just because we can't...

    No Fault Evictions

Accumulate is a good word. So many people bang on about "creating" wealth. Very few do that, IMO.

    No Fault Evictions

I don't need to, as I've already thought about the alternative - a super intelligent all-powerful being appearing out of nothing. I don't understand how you can keep ignoring this inconsistency in your thinking.

Carter High Sleeper Loft Bed assy. instructions.

Bit of a long shot, but nothing ventured... My wife bought a Carter High Sleeper Loft Bed on Facebook marketplace, with no assembly instructions. I've tried two firms that sell them, I joined MumsNet, asked ChatGPT, even had a "Live chat" with one retailer, who came back to me after a 2 hour...
