    Nail Guns

+1. Pilot drill and screw the boards down- more secure, no chance of damage near edges, easily lifted if needed for wiring/plumbing, less chance of creaking. Use T & G.

    The Impossible question.

Glad I’m not the only one who goes goes searching through playlists or lyric lists when the presenter goes straight to the news or whatever. Been watching PM Jukebox for years, plenty of highlights but Haley Reinhart’s cover of Creep stands out.

    First import from the EU

Of course it makes a difference. The actual item, or at least the com code category, is important as the procedure can and often does differ in many instances.

What is the com code and will explain.

    First import from the EU

Thread is not going to be too helpful to others if you can't even give an indication of what the goods are. The fact that they may be zero rated according to the com code still means there is a duty implication, albeit zero, but docs still have to be raised upon import in the customs...

Please do not make this a replay of the last thread. Never the twain shall meet and that is obvious to all and any dog you find wandering in the street. @Garno started the thread and it's been informative and perhaps even helpful for those getting/had/considering a *** or two so let's keep it...

WD40 on concrete? Heat resistance? And for how long is it flammable?

No, not on our burner anyway. Barely 15/16c as I can put my hand right under it to the back. Assume the 12mm requirement is really just common sense. A wood burner can get up to 350c odd on a good day. They can crack, fall over spill etc.

WD40 on concrete? Heat resistance? And for how long is it flammable?

I was assuming you had an ash box on your burner and burning wood.

WD40 on concrete? Heat resistance? And for how long is it flammable?

There's virtually no heat coming out from the underside of a stove so nothing to worry about in that regard. Obviously the area below and in front of the door if there's anything falls out is important but as said, whatever you put on the concrete will be dried/cured. I'd look for some slate...

    Bringing goods from the EU

Never understand why some, in defending Party A, say well Party B would be worse when both parties are as useless as each other. Bit like buying a car that breaks down on a weekly basis and the garage saying "well, good thing you didn't buy a Trabant, they break down on a daily basis". Does that...
