    Amazing bit of woodwork

Indeed but all we can do in this instance is look at them and comment on the, well, looks. Cherry one looks ok.

    Amazing bit of woodwork

By Mac Collins, from Nottingham and apparently it his interpretation of a domino according to Google. Seems to work in wood mostly which can't be bad: Did some "rethinking" about chairs a while ago exhibited in the Design Museum, one is nice, not sure about the other two...

    5 bar gate dimensions?

Yes, glue everything you can, wedges and all. I'd use concrete screws/bolts rather than resin. Gates look well.

    Titanic

Would certainly agree with Ballard. A while ago some one in my family found out we had a distant relative who was on the ship. Far as I recall she didn't survive.

    Shadow Foam for Tools

Would agree. Like you, watched a few videos last year (where the foam guy turned up) and looked up the prices. Didn't watch another one after that. If the bloke can command such prices fair play to him, just not for me.

    Bitumen roof repair

Shell do a Tixophalte sealant, basically tar/bitumen in a tube, seems to work well:

    Titanic

I wouldn’t quite agree with that. Cars? No horse needed.Horseless carriage etc Trains? Transportation for the masses at relatively low cost. Planes? A dream of humankind to fly like a bird and all that followed.

    Titanic

And there was I thinking we could have a chat about a news item without a few flutes popping up and derailing things with opinions on immigration etc. Go elsewhere with that. So let's stick to deep sea tourists and related matters please. The folk that perished made a poor choice, 100% and it's...

    Titanic

Putting aside the back story and reasons to go on the trip, looks like their time is sadly up. Perhaps it fell apart on the way down? US Coast Guard: A debris field was discovered within the search area by an ROV near the Titanic. Experts within the unified command are evaluating the...

    Memory card recovery, help needed

I've used Dr.Fone in the past with success. Reasonably easy to use with the phone plugged into your desktop or laptop. There is a free / trial version but quite limited as far as I recall but the paid up version isn't too expensive. I think it can format raw data but not sure. YMMV. PS- have...

    Titanic

Time seems to be running out. Hindsight etc but was there a viable back-up/emergency system of some sort that would have helped in this situation? I'm in two minds about treating what is essentially a graveyard as a tourist attraction, albeit to those that can afford it.

@Kev.k , last warning. Be civil or you are gone.

    Khan's ULEZ scam >road charging

Kevin, do you think you could be a little more mannerly? And no need to shout. I find if I have a point to put across it's best to be reasonable and calm. Edit: your latest post #17 ain't doing you no favours.

    Khan's ULEZ scam >road charging

Most EVs use less than 11kg of Cobalt, think average is around 6kg. What about air quality in large cities, surely any improvement in that is a good idea? And lastly, out of interest, which banks own properties by the sea in California?

    Katsu

Hi and welcome to the forum. Assuming you mean "Can I use a Makita battery on a Katsu power tool" the answer is yes.
  20. Noel

First mitre saw, EVO SMS255+ or Bosch GCM8?

Go with the Makita, you’ll be more than happy. But your choice.
