How to get curved walls of small irregular dish.

If you have a lathe you could do the 3 corners first then route the inside and finally plane the outside to match the corners

Table Saw kickback and trimmed finger (Graphic description & images)

Ouch, I sympathise with you, about 8 years ago during my construction days I was working 12hour night shifts on London underground, mostly installing cable trays and brackets (mind numbingly boring) it was about a 90 minute motorbike ride between home and work, one morning on my way home I could...

    Wood stove idea

I'd also be concerned about disturbing asbestos if the building was built before 2000

    Something exciting this way comes

Thanks guys, it's an opportunity I would be foolish to miss, although I'm already feeling the pressure and the shop doesn't open until Saturday 🤪

@brocher I agree with @okeydokey , just take a couple in and ask them, they would be daft to refuse them.

Thanks @Bingy man. I won't see any money returned until January 15th, at the very least it clears space in the makerspace for me to have more room to clear/tidy up.

    Something exciting this way comes

So I'm feeling very excited after today, at a small Christmas fair held by the local scout group I met a lady who told me about a group of crafters she was part of who have leased a shop in town that opens next weekend, they dont have anyone who makes wooden things so she invited me to pop in...

    Safe workshop heater?

Let me know if you do and bring a long syphon, I'm not sure there's a drain on the tank

    Safe workshop heater?

Let me know, you'd need a long syphon tube as the tank can hold 12.5K litres and we would have to wait until the weekend when nobody is in school, it will likely be months before we get funding for the replacement works.

    Safe workshop heater?

It's a shame you're so far away, our oil boiler broke down and is going to be replaced with Gas, I still have 4K litres of heating oil in the tank.

    Bloody cold shed!

Oil filled tube heaters are a good option, site them on the wall near the floor. We have them in a small building that's being demolished soon, I could save a couple for you if you want to try them out.
