If you want to try your hand at something like spoon carving, then I believe that's easier when the wood is green. If it was me I'd set some of it aside for a year or two to dry, and have a go at some green woodworking projects with the rest.

Hmmm. On my Camvac, the suction when using only one motor is significantly improved if I cover the outlet of the other motor. I found that the top from a coffee jar fits perfectly with just a minor modification with a sharp knife.

How quickly do you need to use wood? If you have a few months before it is needed, you could buy kiln dried and then leave it to acclimatize to your ambient environment before you use it.
