Sold Axminster Workshop Sliding Table Kit For AW254TS Table Saw

That could easily be attached to a router table. I live in the wrong country. 🙄 Pete

    Mitutoyo Bevel Protractor

I'm 99.9% sure it is the same size as the rules in a Starrett or a Moore and Wright or is it Right? If you can find one try it and see if it fits. Pete

What size for dust extract flexible hose ?

400CFM is roughly the maximum you'll get through a 4" smooth duct. 800CFM is roughly the maximum you'll get through a 5" smooth duct. 1200CFM is roughly the maximum you'll get through a 6" smooth duct. Pete 😉

Prepping a soot-stained wall prior to repainting

I must be the only one bugged by the answer in post #9? The OP, a home owner has had a bad job done on his chimney/fireplace and is covering up the result so he can get more money and move. That leaves the new owner to resolve it eventually when it becomes a problem for them. To me that isn't...

Curved Ply Part For Campervan, Help!

One more option to look into. If your radius is constant from end to end you could get a plastic pipe like PVC and cut out the section from it, scuff the inside and then glue (probably epoxy) the veneer to the inside. A printed woodgrain transfer could work too. The PCV can be manipulated some...

Curved Ply Part For Campervan, Help!

You have the kerfed plywood in place now so presumably you can get it out as is. With that in mind I would work thickened epoxy into the kerfs even if only every few inches. When it sets you can take it out, fill the rest of the grooves if you like, then sand and fair as needed. Now you can...

    Spray can/ aerosol nozzles

Drop them into a little bottle of acetone (your nail polish will do) to let them soak with occasional shaking. When you finish a can keep the old nozzels after washing it clean. Then you always have some and you'll never need any again. Clogs only happen when you have no alternatives.😉 Pete

    Narex woodturning chisels

I did find a few places that sold them but they are more than I want to consider spending when for a little more I can get Thompson tools, unhandled but that isn't a big problem. Pete

Oh I am a little slow this week. 😴 I thought you actually had a different jig and not your hands. Maybe it was the four bears 🧸🧸🧸🧸 spelling of forebears that threw me? 🤔 Pete

Went for an NHS colonoscopy yesterday..

You get the freezing at the same time. 💩 Was the Titanic in reality a colonoscopy cruise?🚢 I've had a couple of them and no big deal. Better than going for root canals. Pete

Their pro line tools are HSS. Can't vouch for the tool shapes and can't say I like the look of he handles. https://www.narextools.cz/en/woodturning-chisels Pete

    Moving a wood burner.

I don't know about your regulations, but I have a hot tip for you. Don't pick up the wood stove if it still has burning wood in it. 🔥 😆 Any chance you can put a small fan above the stove to blow the warm air towards the other end of the shop? Pete

My dust extractor no longer works as it used to.

What do the brushes look like? They could be at the end of their life and need replacing. Pete

    Air tank

I'd fill it with clean dry air, turn it upside down and let it out as fast as I could. Repeat a few times. Maybe charge it up and let it get warm to the touch in the sun or by a heater, then drain it again. Pete

    Trig formula for splayed box

By a butt joint he is asking for the sides and ends to tilt out. Instead of a miter joint in the corners it is square to the face of the adjoining board plus whatever angle adjustment is needed to allow for the slope of the hopper. In other words tilt the sides out while keeping the end square...
