Provided you don’t buy them from a wood turning supplier, polishing mops are surprisingly inexpensive so I wouldn’t waste too much time on one if it’s badly clogged? These folks are often about half the price of a well known supplier to wood turners. 😉...

Not needed IMO. I made that mistake and then saw several professionals using the tip of a skew to do the job. The redundant dovetail scraper was reground into something more useful.

I don’t believe he was. But what’s your view on the Nurses that refused the vaccination? Some lost their jobs and many others protested about mandatory vaccination at the time...

I bought a Crown M42 razor edge spindle gouge and it doesn’t seem any sharper than any of my other M2 gouges. And if it does hold an edge longer I haven’t noticed it. Very nice looking tool though with it’s Black handle and copper ferrule. 😆

I’ve got the Record Power SC2 and it’s a very nice little chuck. Cheap too when I bought it. I have larger chucks but I bought the SC2 because of a particular set of jaws available for it. Sadly RP don’t make many other different jaws for it though. Another option would be the Axminster SK88...
