    No Fault Evictions

Forgot to add - two extreme examples of "posh idiots getting into positions of power and influence" both ex Eton and Bullingdon Club, are Cameron and Johnson. They gave us Brexit. Cameron also gave us the bonfire of the red tape leading to the bonfire of Grenfell Tower. Two national...

Is this getting a bit out of hand? - RSV jabs

I'm one. Naturally inclined to total self-indulgence but make attempts to counter this - cycling, walking, diet, alcohol 14 units or less, etc. Took up C25K rather late in the day and occasionally run, which was a very unfamiliar thing. Wish I'd done it sooner, though several old fell runners I...

It is implied in the title itself, re-asserted in your doubts and reasonings for not taking it, hinted at by your allusions to drug company manipulations etc. .... As one of your irked elements I can assure you that I am quite happy with questioning, it's an opportunity to kick topics around...

...and answer came there non! Occurred to me that advocates of population control should set an example themselves. Quite easy to do and not necessary for them to throw themselves off cliffs or anything. Just get themselves sterilised, and all other male members of their family. Not so easy with...

I was a local election "paper candidate" as I said. Google it if you don't know what it means. Just a volunteer for the cause with no chance or desire to win. In the event I got 60 votes in a tiny but extremely tory ward. Quite interesting thing to do as I did get about having to canvass and...

No of course the avoiders should be taxed. The tories actually ran down HMRC as part of their "efficiency building" austerity program. Paper candidate in local elections. Was actually Chatsworth constituency i.e one of poshest estates in UK, which was good for a laugh. I got more votes than...

There is no alternative way of paying for the public services which we all need including yourself. It's too easy to blame the needy for needing support. They are much less of a burden on society e.g. of some who, as they say, arrive in private jets not leaky dinghies

What about just taxing unearned income: inherited wealth, investment income, savings interest, capital gains, rental income, etc etc? What you tend to find is that they too were working but for low wage, with no profit sharing and paying high rents. Hmm, that sounds like a very poor work/life...

    Mentor Wanted

Use a pencil and transfer marks to the rod from your design drawings, then mark directly from the rod to the stock, with pencil and a set square, as necessary. Knife lines are only for those few cuts which need a perfect sharp edge and not for general marking.

State school kids have the same problem of schools being "full" and finding themselves having to travel ever further instead of to the nearest. This is due, as ever , to deliberate underfunding by the tories. Bringing kids in from posh schools would bring about more pressure to improve standards...

You mean better off parents being able to buy privileged education for their offspring? Wouldn't matter but it turns into a fast track for posh idiots getting into positions of power and influence, particularly in politics, law, finance, as we all know to our cost. They also get fast tracked...

So Red Robbo wasn't to blame for the collapse of the UK motor industry, it was going down anyway due to archaic management and lack of R&D. Certainly was the case with the motorbikes - they just didn't keep up.

    No Fault Evictions

How did the tax system do this? I thought the decline of the UK motor industry was down to archaic and backward bad management, and lack of design/development. Red Robbo was just doing his job trying to hang on to jobs for his members...

Usually legally. Low wages are supported by a network of welfare benefits, effectively subsidising the employers paying the low wages. One of many ways that tax revenue finds its way straight back into their pockets. It also keeps workers on the hook in many ways. Benefits illegally claimed are...

Tracking down the correct router cutter for a sash window

You may get something closer if you shop around but I wouldn't count on it. I discovered this when I first started sash renovations and sorted it eventually with home-made spindle cutters. Easy to get a perfect match. The curve looks like an ovolo but is more likely to be just a segment of a...

May be referring to this here? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/52847648 I jut googled "Bill Gates and covid truth come out". Uncovers a weird world of crazy rumours, conspiracies and quack medicine! Anybody tried the Cow Dung vaccine? Gates seems to be generously setting an example which Elon Musk...
