I think sealing the wood fast is the most important part. also when I was at the door factory. Every piece of wood is meticulously sorted looked at and picked for each door. Been a carpenter for 40;years and was gobsmacked in the care in making these high end doors.

I did not read all comments so this could be a duplicate. Wood will always move. Even if I kilNed dried , planed it, etc to perfectly flat wood. Then sold it to someone in the next town. My shop might be a perfect humidity to keep wood from moving. It now goes to someone else's house or shop...

Buy all the same tracks. You have to adjust your saw a bit to stay tight in each brand of track. If you use all the same track you only have to do it once. If you have a 4 foot festool and a 8 foot Makita track you will have to fine tune your saw base each time you use each track. Gets old...

No. I generally put them on chisels wider than 3/4 but not on smaller chisels.

They do not work well. Not worth the money at all. A student had one and it tore the wood out and it is trial and error to set the right dimensions to drill holes. Much easier to use a couple of Forster bits.

Crush grind are the ultimate in my opinion. I buy them 100+ at a time. That way I get them under $10 Canadian each. They allow you to make grinders without seeing the stainless bits and pieces and also the mechanism is ceramic and adjustable grind. Two different types of mechanisms.

well we will have to agree to disagree. you would be surprised how many people oversize there fireplace when they purchase. remember most people fill a wood stove dampen it down to where they need and then leave. they certainly don't have time to sit there and build little fires and redo each...

So true . When I built our house - 2400 sq ft to heat I was going to put the largest stove in. Store told me put the smallest in. I went with the medium size as I thought the wee one would look funny in the large space. Wow was I wrong in the winter minus 30 had to open windows it was to hot...

I just looked up single slice toasters. Found one at $65. When a normal two slice is $14.. I guess it's supply an$ demand. I wonder if you just disabled one side of te toaster. $14 and a set of wire cutters. Lol.
