Serious help needed from any guitarist

Take the money you might spend on a chord buddy and get a cheap first lesson. You might be surprised the advice you will get from that one lesson. They will see right away if you have a chance of playing, or should go to slide, or if you are trying to do a death grip. Etc.

Well that didn’t go as planned.

No good plumber puts joints where you can't access them. Lol. And they could not have pressurized the system for 24 hours to check for leaks and set home the joints to seal.

Wall bed/Murphy bed hinge help please.

Don't most Murphy bed hardware kits when they fold down automatically take the bed back tight to wall. I looked at a few kits an$ they all seem to do it.

I use a cloverdale product here in Canada, as it's Canadian made but you will have a similar product there. It is resistant to so many things including, Coca Cola, lemon juice etc. and I spray with an airless Graco sprayer. And I sand between second and third coat. 320 grit.

    Lets see your wood

Wood dries at 1 inch per year, plus one year I have heard. So a 7 inch thick chunks air dries or shall I say comes to equilibrium to the environment it's in in about 8 years.

    Titanium hammers?

We use to have new guys show up, 20 years old, bulging muscles. Back in the eighties when we hand nailed everything. They would run out , buy the big 28 oz framing hammer, then brag how bi* there hammer was. Start pounding walls together, next day sprained wrist, crybabies. They would never listen."

    Titanium hammers?

That's not necessarily true. I have a 16 oz hammer that hits a nail in faster than my old 22 oz estwing. I'm a framer by trade, and got it through a secret Santa trade. I thought it was a gimmick, but after using it, I would never go back. It is balanced totally different , eliminating weight in...

    Festool Vibrating Doodad.

You will find more uses for that tool. I bought a dewalt one years ago. I would not live without one now, it's one of those tools like my track Festool saw. Didn't think I needed one. Once had one , wished I'd bought one years before.
