Steve I have just cut a load of 6mm UHMWPE strips 17 and 20mm wide for this very purpose, it's a regular issue with European machines as all the American kit is made for standard 3/4" x 3/8" mitre slots. Dado saws are still fairly rare in the UK. Cheers Peter

It's a UK movement and show but well supported by the international YT community. Last year was very good, this year looks even better, looks like it could be the last one.

Better than the Trend IMO, I don't have any experience of the Hitachi but I would think they are a workhorse.

I feel the Dewalt are better quality, I have a few 625s in the workshop. My Trend routers haven't lasted as long.

The Trend is quite good and stick it on an Incra plate if the budget allows...

In my experience quality thickness planers work on a single column whist some of the cheaper version which are more prone to heal and snipe work off four post and chain setups. Cheers Peter

We have sold both of these and a few more versions and still do, but I would say JessEm (the router lift inventors) are still the best. They used to make for Woodpecker but they now make their own not as good as the JessEm, JessEm also make the lifts for Incra. The Prestige is a hidden gem...
