    Pantorouter options

Hi Ivan We are the UK supplier for the Pantorouter, as yet we have not found a reliable 1/2" router that will fit within the Pantorouter and work on UK 230V 50Hz power. The German made Mafell MF1000 spindle has proved to be an excellent machine and has a few advantages over the round bodied...

    Cascamite glue

Brian sounds like you have the same issues with Polyvine as some of us, I would do some test joints before committing to something important particularly veneer. I fear it might fail. Cheers Peter

    Cascamite glue

This might be better UF glue, one shot rather than Cascamite. https://www.adkwik.co.uk/one-shot-powde ... -wood-glue Anybody use this at present? Cheers Peter

    Cascamite glue

Lots of us are having ongoing issues, I have been sent a couple of other brands to test but feel UF has an issue and I am shying away from it at present. Cheers Peter

Is it to be used free hand or in a router lift? If it's the latter we may be able to help. Cheers Peter

    Woodwork courses

Greedo Joining a long course is a big commitment both in time and money, it would be worth you visiting the workshops and taking a good look at the students work and chatting to them. We always give potential students a tour and interview lasting between one or two hours so we and they get a...

    Tuffsaw Bandsaw blades.

The blade suppliers around the Uk do not normally produce the blade from raw material, they buy in pre punched and hardened blades by the roll. Their job is to cut, weld, grind and supply, this is equally as important as the first stage if not more so. Cheers Peter

    Blanchon Original Wood Environment

Roger I agree, It's a great product we use it a lot on our Maple or Sycamore as it retains the light colour. We also use Blanchon Hard Waxoil for Walnut and darker timbers, the Prim'oil is a must if used on oily timbers. https://www.agwoodcare.co.uk/brands/blanchon/ Cheers Peter

    Isaac Lord

Issac Lord are such an established company it would be a great loss if they have gone but High Wycombe is not the centre of furniture making it once was. Their website site looks refreshed with Christmas closing dates so I wonder if it's just one of their branches closed. Not been there for...

    magnifying light

I have had a couple both of which have broken over the years from Maplins and Axminster, by far the best one and still working is from these people. They usually have a stand next to me at Harrogate and always look busy. https://www.craftlights.co.uk/index.html Cheers Peter

    Anti-gravity router bit!

Hi Mark The collet shouldn't be worn but I will happily send you a new one, just send us an email. My suggestions are the same as others, smaller cuts, slower feed speed or use a slotter/groover. I have just bought some from Wealden, so much more efficient than two flute cutters...

    Router Upgrade Advice

Sorry Karl the Router Raizer is no longer available, the inventor has been very ill so not sure when we will be back in stock. The 625 is an excellent match for the JessEm Prestige lift, or you could put the Trend into an Incra 621625 -AL plate, Incra have made these pre drilled for us to fit...
