    I can't see the logic of this. 'Wasting' £100 ish to learn to use an inferior tracksaw? Buy the better one and get the advantages of it? Then hope for the longer life of the tool. Just take care when learning.

    There are other threads on the forum discussing compressors. I agree about sanding and larger spraying jobs, 50L would be more appropriate.

    I think you'd be OK with 4mm biscuits in 12mm stock. Just take care to centre the biscuit. pm me if you're interested in a mains Makita, old, but little used.

    I bought two cartridges for about 25. Easy enough to fit (previously just cleaned and vaseline on ceramic disc). Any DIY neighbours might help?
