Hi all now i,ve got the hang of this picture thing i thought i would send some of my turnings for opinions from you,have been turning for about a year now, they are all birch except the bowl which is "tulipo" johnluc.

tulipo turnings hope they show ok spent all afternoon working it out how to send.

Hi all, has anyone heard of a wood i get in france called "tulipo" i assumed when i bought it it was tulip wood but after seeing Blisters clock and comments about it being poplar and is white, i now know its not, my wood is like a flesh colour,quite hard and finishes well. johnluc

hi i recently bought aluminum,copper&brass powder and speed epoxy, my problem is,when mixed it takes forever to set and awful colour,the aluminum turns battleship grey the brass a dark kaki and the copper a dull browny red, have tried less/more powder with same results am i expecting too much or...

Hi Irecently bought a new jet 1642 lathe,it appears that it is not running true,it is ok on small spindle work but on larger work with the faceplate or chuck it seems to wobble very slightly and cannot true edges without a chatter, any comments b4 i contact jet,main problem bought in uk & live...
