For sale. Festool Domino. 10 for sale, £100. (PICS)

I should really support Mr Philly with his made in England shoulder planes. Will you be at Alexandre Palace?. This is simply gorgeous. http://www.phillyplanes.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=19&Itemid=20

Magnets sourced on-line saved £80. Wealden are supplying the Router bit, a few pounds there. Thanks Wizer. Was wondering if anyone had put up a list of tool suppliers on this forum?. I have only seen the shoulder plane and not used it yet, will have a think about that one. If I carry on making...

    What?.

    Plywood laminated work bench

This is the one I am making once I find some nice Ply. He made it from 3 sheets and I'm looking to turn the legs through 90 Degrees and incorporate the shelves into the build and make it a lot stronger. I'll also loose the Vise and get a heavy work top on it. A second bench, we all need one.

I knew that would get your attention. So how comes every time I come on here and see something for sale it's already been viewed by 20 people and is full of PM sent?. I'm going to put a list up of what I need and see what happens. Below is my current shopping list with Pics that I need It's...

    Felling a London Plane

I agree with the trees staying up but from the report and what I've heard from the guy that did the survey the trunk is basically just a bark outer ring and failing on one side. I'm going down sometime over the weekend and will get some pictures taken.

    Felling a London Plane

It's not for a few months, still need to inform everyone from the Police to the newspaper shop!!!. I'll get back on here when I have decided on what will become of the timber. I'm also thinking about creating large block furniture. We shall see.

    Mortise and Tenon

Thanks Steve. I'll get those ordered over the weekend. I'm going to buy a bench mounted Morticer to make the mortices and make a 5 degree base plate for the timber to sit on against the fence. I'm thinking that due to the lack of a bandsaw or table saw that I will use my Festool circular saw...

    Felling a London Plane

Excellent. All the info I need. I have an area in mind for stacking behind an ISO container that will keep the driving rain away. Good idea on one thickness, I was going to ask what would be a good thickness, 50mm seems about right. I'll load the timber down with some bags of concrete that can...

Is this the package I'm after, you seem to have loads out there. Thanks

    Mortise and Tenon

This is the type of joint. Though on the Daybed piece it will be the opposite way round. Found your DVDs, I always knew that a Band saw had a lot more options, will have a look in detail later and will get in touch.

    Mortise and Tenon

So how do I find your Large Tenon Jig?. I have to put a 5 degree tenon on the joint so it won't be making standard 9o degree joints. This is why I thought I could get the big floor standing machine. I do have plans in the future to start creating large outdoor furniture but as always my budget...

    Design/Work shop Tour.

It's just used as the blanking piece that hides all the screw mechanism from the end vice. It's not structural in anyway and I don't do any work on it in that area.

    Design/Work shop Tour.

The bench is made from Iroko for the leg construction, Maple for the Top and a rather nice piece of Zebrano for the tail vice, thanks Jon G.

    Mortise and Tenon

My only problem with this is that if I let the Router come away from the piece at just a small angle then it will be multiplied at the cutting face. The support brackets for the timber would not be a problem.

    Mortise and Tenon

This therefore this would be more suitable for my needs. http://www.axminster.co.uk/product.asp?pf_id=649842&name=Morticers&user_search=1&sfile=1&jump=44 I could cut the Tenon, Shoulder and cheek on an angle and do any finishing work with the Shoulder Plane. Also a Pillar drill.

    Mortise and Tenon

That is one HUGE picture. So if I make my Daybed using this technique I will have to make something that is over 2500mm of the ground?. The first thing that entered my head was a set of Steps but then I saw the words on your picture. In Bold big angry words was written. "Do not use a set of...

    Felling a London Plane

Nice one. Can see myself laying a 6' x 8' concrete bed in the Yard now to take my timber. That's what I like, the whole process of getting and sourcing my wood and showing the customer.
