Gate build. Mortice & Tenon or Domino

I'm fairly confident that I can get the M&T's spot on, a small problem I have is my accuracy in my work. It will be spot on. Like the sound of sliding doors but she want to be able to put the car in the yard so will need to have double openings.

Gate build. Mortice & Tenon or Domino

That's the plan, after reading a little more into it the center panels will sit in a 30mm groove and not be glued in place, sort of floating.

Your spot on. Each gate will be roughly 1200 X 1770. I had thought that by writing Pair of gates. Never mind.

Gate build. Mortice & Tenon or Domino

What is that weird looking tool?, the Sharp edged thing. Very bizarre. My dilemma is the tools I own & the time I have. If there is a faster route I shall take it. Hence the Domino. I would love to charge £3000 for some gates but that's not an option at the moment. I try and always get a new...

    Book shelves for A4 size

Work out how many different sized books you have, The big books, the paper backs and the one's in the middle. The big books should stay vertical as that's just the rules for big books. The paper backs could be stacked horizontally as there not heavy. I'd then create a large unit with horizontal...

Delivered to site yesterday morning. Weight wise she comes in about 60kg, not heavy just a pain to move, hence the carry handles. Unfortunately she won't be going to RHS Tatton, Chelsea is her heaven and the best show. Isn't 'Tatton' a planet from Star Wars?. More to follow once the...

    Where Do We Start?

Brilliant. Straight to the pub, we are all the same. I'm not the only one then that just does some quick maths and comes up with a sum. I would have done the Steel work at £300, Timber £1500, Tooling £500, Days at £175 x 15. Total £4925. That would include all those costs that need to be...

    Google street view intrusion?

You miss was I'm saying. London is full of houses with very nice cars parked in the drive and obvious money in the house. On the other hand I could quiet easily check out a house with no surrounding houses and target that. As an Ex Military man I could quiet easily work out an escape route...
