I am an old 82 year old fossil, my life spent working in IT but has always been a Jack of all Trades. Tried most things with very few failures. Have some carpentry tools and lately acquired an old Kity 613 Band saw which I will be refurbishing. Any suggestions are most welcome. Been following members' comments and I got the gist of it, probably getting spares will be a problem shipping to Malta with Brexit and all.
