Spot on - this is for an in situ job i do once a month - drilling 50+ 5mm holes in 4mm thick box section.
Not the biggest job in the world, buy I would love to make it a little easier.
Good point about having to raise the arm to lower the drill - counterintuitive but I suspect id get the hang...
Seen this drill press on eBay that would be great for a job I regularly do.
Price is OK, but always like to look around for similar / used items
Anyone know what make this is?
Stamped as SCLC but I can’t find anything online...
Hi All,
Im in the market for a replacement riving knife for my Charnwood 619 table saw.
I ordered a replacement from Charnwood, but it is too thick for any of my Freud blades 1.8mm body thickness, 2.4mm kerf
A quick google doesnt just find me a suitable replacement. what do you recomend?

I would recommend the guys over at In Her Hands - Login • Instagram
Could be a great place to get some hands on experience with a range of tutors and learn some good like lessons along the way.
I made something similar to this

The sliding doors work well with changing the angle of the saw.
I have a LVHP on the back of the saw and an HVLP into the cabinet
I would caution against pocket holes in either 12mm ply or any osb. At 12mm you don’t have much material to screw into. Pockets in osb can be quite weak as the material properties are stacked against you
Have you tried:
- Moving the problem drawer to a different aperture?
- swapping the runners around to narrow down the problem to drawer, runner or cabinet
